Is There A Phobia That’s Holding You Back From Living Your Best Life?
Are you struggling with debilitating anxiety related to a painful or traumatic past experience?
Do you suffer from fear of flying, driving, or leaving the house at certain times of day?
Has your phobia placed limitations and restrictions on your ability to enjoy life?
Whether you’re afraid of driving in tunnels, over bridges, or using certain forms of transportation, your phobia may have reached a point where it’s holding you back from what you want to achieve. You might find yourself constantly backing out of plans that would trigger your phobia, making excuses to the people around you for fear of telling the truth. When you have emotions and don’t process them or keep re-living situations from the past, you run the risk of creating emotional baggage.
If you want to overcome your phobia once and for all, I encourage you to try the Mental and Emotional Release Breakthrough Sessions. This is an intensive, personalized, and accelerated therapy experience that aims to facilitate rapid and lasting personal transformation. Typically spanning eight to ten hours over one or two days, these sessions employ the Mental and Emotional Release (MER) technique to help you identify and release negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and psychological barriers that hinder personal growth and goal achievement.

Why Should I Choose Mental And Emotional Release Breakthrough?
The Mental and Emotional Release Breakthrough Program is ideal for clients who may be interested in therapy but don’t have the time to commit to weekly sessions. It can help people achieve significant personal growth in a condensed timeframe, leading to improved decision-making and a clearer life direction. The MER process is also corroborated by research. Studies have shown that, for people with depression symptoms, MER allows for faster relief than traditional approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).*
Some of the main benefits of this program are listed below:
Improved mental health: reduction in stress, anxiety, and other negative emotional states
Enhanced clarity and focus: clearer understanding of personal goals and the steps needed to achieve them
Increased motivation: renewed drive to pursue personal and professional aspirations without the weight of past limitations
Rapid transformation: significant change in a short period of time that would have taken months or years to achieve using traditional methods
Values elicitation: clarifying core values to align future actions with your true self and aspirations
Ultimately, the greatest benefit of the MER process is that it can enable you to finally let go of old traumas, phobias, and self-imposed beliefs that restrict your progress and hinder your growth. When you achieve this, it becomes much easier to get in touch with your values, enhance your focus and motivation, and accomplish all the other goals listed above.
How Does Mental And Emotional Release Therapy Work?
The MER breakthrough program is eight to ten hours in length and generally takes place over two consecutive days. You will need to be in a quiet, distraction-free location for the duration of the breakthrough. If you are in the Dallas, Fort Worth area, you can come to the Frisco office, but you are also welcome to do your breakthrough sessions virtually. You should dress comfortably and expect to be away from your cell phone for the duration of the breakthrough.
The breakthrough process can be broken down into three steps, each of which is outlined below:
- History Taking—At the beginning of the MER process, I’ll take a detailed personal history of your early life experiences as well as your relationships with family members, teachers, caregivers, etc. Then, we’ll explore more context around your phobia or anxiety and identify what’s keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll explore limiting beliefs such as: “I can’t leave the house after dark,” “I can’t drive over bridges,” or “It’s not safe to fly.” This will give us a framework for what to focus on in our breakthrough sessions.
- Release Work—This is the part of the MER breakthrough where we release the negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and emotional blocks holding you back. We will use guided visualization and other calming techniques to help you let go of emotions and beliefs that are tied to past experiences.
- Creating a compelling future—Once you have successfully released negative emotions and beliefs, we can focus on the positives of the process—setting goals for the future, identifying any shifts in your values, and creating an action plan that aligns with those values. Through this process, we can effectively stop creating emotional baggage and create new neural pathways in the brain.
When the MER Breakthrough Sessions are done, there will be four coaching sessions with me to ensure that you are maintaining the changes you achieved throughout the healing process. For instance, if you have a fear of driving in tunnels, we will work on following an action plan for safely challenging this fear in day-to-day life and empowering you to travel without restrictions.
